no more dark elf faction... i guess they were replaced by idoneth deepkin who are also sea based raiders. On the Warhammer website i did see some Dark Elf models in the "Cities of Sigmar" page.

I'm one of many players jumping over from 40k and I'm so happy this Edition brings new Skaven and Spearhead. I got into 40k through Combat Patrol, and Skaven were basically all I knew about Warhammer until I started 40k. Absolutely perfect.

If this is Chaos vs Everyone it would be nice to see Destruction and Death get some center stage rather than just running order vs chaos back again with Order having loss after loss until some 11th hour turnaround. Nagash has a bit of a grudge against Skaven. And someone mentioned Gloomspite being on the warpath against them.

How could would it be for one of these Skaven citadels to pop up like halfway inside an Order city. Be a great location for Soulbound, an Order 'starting location' with a massive, magical, ever-changing Skaven dungeon right next door. And a built-in countdown to disaster, cause if you don't go *in* to destroy it, something is going to come *out* .

I think an clarification is necessary for what the best decision to make is. The Slaan will make the best decision that would lead to the destruction of chaos. If the decision will destroy chaos but destroy everything else aswell they’ll take that course of action. The Seraphon could easily be the villain at some point.

I love the skaven as a chaos faction simply for how hopelessly hilariously evil they are. They're like an entire race of lab rats which is what i have loved about them since day one of my fandom .

Good stuff Doug! I'd love to see what the other factions are up to. Gloomspite Gitz and Tzeentch. Tzeentch because while we got some cool lore events for them around the time of Dawnbringers book 5, I think we need a bit more if Chaos is taking center-stage. I'll also admit my bias, I want a big range expansion for Arcanites, like what Slaanesh got at the end of 2nd edition.(gimme a proper heavy melee infantry GW!) And I want to see what Gitz are up to, because after one of the Dawnbringer Chronicles short stories, Skragrott *personally* declared war on the Skaven after one of them set fire to his Fungal Asylum. I want to see the fallout of these factions known for being these massive, unending hordes primarily composed of weedy cowards or slightly hapless, but ultimately clever and creative backstabbing schemers going out of their way to clash on open ground. They're truly two sides of the same coin, and I'd love to see the insane shenanigans that result from their direct conflict.

I want to know how they narratively justify mothballing Beasts of Chaos. Sacrosanct chamber gets recalled en mass, I suppose you could just say bone splitters faded away and in the aftermath of Kruelboy ascendency... But why did 95% of the beastmen disappear?

I'm hoping Grungni finally gets hands on with the mortal realms and we get a godly flying forge center piece model for KO!

Loving all the Skaven stuff in AOS.

As a Kharadron player, I hope that the Skavendoom and the Hour of Ruin brings an opportunity for a new unit that is aimed towards shock assaults and melee for more gameplay variety than "shoot them off the point"! Skywardens and Endrinriggers only go so far but how about a ground infantry squad that's more elite than Arknauts and sent in to secure beachheads? Maybe using steampunk power suits like we have in Soulbound (the Gholem rig in Steam & Steel)? The Hour of Ruin is as good a time as any to introduce some recently developed technology from the Tech Faction!
